Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group Limited, Home Affairs Bureau, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, and other government departments in Shenzhen organized Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Teens Exchange Week from 15th to 20th August, and invited our chairman, Mr. Joseph Yuen, to be a guest of honor, attending the opening ceremony on 15th August.

In the past few years, the encouragement of entrepreneurship in Shenzhen has bee accelerating. There are many reasons, including resources, market potential, infrastructures, attracting Hong Kong teenagers to explore opportunities. However, the huge gap on political environment, living habit, and so on between Hong Kong and the Mainland, makes people become less willing to develop in Shenzhen. Therefore, how the governments and the society can jointly create great an environment suitable for everyone, and encourage teenagers to grab the chance and develop their potential in the Bay Area becomes a focused social issue.

Mr. Yuen hosted the opening ceremony with other guests of honor, including CEO of Ta Kung Pao, Mr. Lin Xue-fei, President of The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, Mr. Timothy Fok, Chief Editor of Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group Limited, Mr. Li Da-hung, Executive Director of Country Garden, Mr. Xiang Jun-bo, and other honorable guests. After the ceremony, Mr. Yuen visited Tong-hu Science Town, and shared how the business sector should utilize technology to explore infinite business potential with guests.

Mr. Yuen was glad to be invited by organizing units to become a guest of honor, hosting the opening ceremony and sharing his thoughts with all honorable guests. We look forward to having more exchange activities, promoting co-operation between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
