Event Highlight – PayExpo MENA 2016

PayExpo MENA was held in Dubai from 5-7th December, 2016. The 3 day expo surrounded the theme of payment technologies, and will bring the entire payments ecosystem together to network and learn in one of the fastest growing and most competitive markets for smart payments in the region. Speakers from the Bitcoin Foundation, Blackberry, Accenture, Standard Charter Bank, Uber, LEGO group, and many more major players in the e-commerce world were featured at the Expo.
Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC) participated in a seminar on the topic of “Introducing innovative micro-payment services in to a fast urbanising society”, featuring our Chairman, Mr. Joseph Yuen as the speaker for the event. The seminar had an attendance of over 150 guests and we were glad to be able to share and exchange information with a delightful audience.
The main expo featured over 1000 delegates from the banking sector, MNOs, retailers, payment service providers, and more. Over 30 exhibitors were featured, and over 80 speakers attended the event to share their knowledge with the audience.
