HKFEC Participates in E-Commerce Innovation Expo 2026 Panel on Cross-Border E-Commerce

The Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC) took part in the E-Commerce Innovation Expo 2026, held on 25–26 June 2026 at the HKPC Building in Kowloon. Organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) SME ReachOut and the Trade and Industry Department, with full support from the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government, the expo brought together over 80 exhibitors across five thematic zones — Brand × IP, New Retail Tech, Smart Operations, Cross-Border E-Commerce, and E-Commerce Go-Global.
HKFEC Chairman Mr Joseph Yuen served as the Guest Moderator for the opening panel session titled “《Cross-Border E-Commerce Dividends》’Hong Kong’ Brands — How to Convert Traffic into Orders”, held on 25 June. The session gathered industry experts to explore how Hong Kong SMEs can turn online traffic into tangible overseas sales.

The distinguished panel speakers included:
- Mr Adolf Lau, Head of Business Banking Digital Lending Development, Hang Seng Bank — on financing and cash flow planning for cross-border operations
- Mr Terry Kwok, Cross-Border E-Commerce Planner, Alibaba Hong Kong — on market strategy and operational guidance for SMEs
- Ms Wendy Wang, Senior Specialist, Cross-Border Business Division, JD International — on platform entry and order conversion
- Mr Ian Yiu, Senior Digital Strategist, First Page — on digital marketing conversion and customer journey optimisation
- Ms Katy Kung, Artist & KOL Entrepreneur — on KOL content monetisation and building consumer trust
The panel covered the full spectrum of cross-border e-commerce success — from securing financing and building market strategy, to platform operations, digital marketing conversion, and the role of KOL-driven content in driving real sales. Key takeaways included practical methods for SMEs to improve conversion rates within three months, and how to diagnose bottlenecks when traffic grows but orders do not.
HKFEC is proud to contribute to empowering Hong Kong brands to “go global” and to support the local SME community in navigating the rapidly evolving cross-border e-commerce landscape.
