The SMART RETAILING AWARD organized by Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA) since 2020, aimed to recognize SMART and innovative ideas and campaigns and outstanding SMART retail talents in key aspects of new retail business and to showcase the retail-related solutions in the biggest retailers’ platform.

Company Awards
The company awards aim to recognize SMART and innovative ideas and campaigns with forward-looking & innovative approaches to solve industry pain points. Competing campaigns should demonstrate proven success in implementation and integration in the key areas of retail business.
Smart Retail Tech Award (For Technology Vendors and Start-ups)
To recognize SMART and innovative ideas / campaigns with forward-looking & innovative approaches to solve industry pain points.
Smart Transformation & Innovation Award (For Retailers)
To recognize retailers created and executed a project with innovative ideas to overcome business pain points and transform company business or culture.
Individual Award
Smart Retail Talent Award
(For vendors, start-ups, and retailers)
The individual award amins to recognize outstanding SMART retail talents in key aspects of new retail. Awards includes Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award & Merits for the following 2 categories.
- Digital Marketers: who initiate and implement innovative and successful marketing campaign to expand brands’ digital presence
E-Commerce Specialists: who initiate innovative and impactful ideas to solve industry pain points and drive retail transformation
KEY DATES
- EARLY BIRD DEADLINE: 5 May 2021 (Wednesday)
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: 1 June 2021 (Tuesday)
- PHASE 1: Shortlist to be announced in July 2021
- PHASE 2: Shortlisted companies will present their proposal in August 2021, while individual contestants will be invited for interviews
- AWARD PRESENTATION: Awards to be presented at 2021 HKRMA Annual Awards Presentation in December 2021 (TBC)

Industry Best Practice Award
