Event Highlight – 2019 Internet + Smart City Summit

With the support from China Internet Development Foundation (CIDF), the Technology Committee of Macao Special Administration Region hosted the 2019 Internet + Smart City Summit, on 25th and 26th April 2019, at the Cotai Expo of The Venetian Macao. There were many discussion forums, international experts, thought-leaders, and representatives from well-known enterprises and regional government from the Internet, technology and Big Data field will share their insights. Our Chairman, Mr. Joseph Yuen, was invited to share how to utilize resources of each city in the Greater Bay Area to promote new retail and e-commerce.
The Summit has attracted over 400 attendees. During the 2019 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Internet Innovation Forum, Guests of Honour and honorable speakers including Mr. Yuen, and chairmen, permanent secretaries, vice presidents of e-commerce associations from Guang-dong Province, Macau, Shen-zhen, Zhong-shan, Zhu-hai, Dong-guang, Fo-shan, Jiang-men, Zhao-qing all shared the latest trend of development and advantages of their respective region, to assist delegates to capture potential of the Bay Area and facilitate cooperation among Bay Area cities.
Mr. Yuen was glad to be invited and shared his insights, and communicated with representatives of e-commerce industries from all other 10 cities in Greater Bay Area. HKFEC hope everyone will grab the opportunities in the ay Area to make a significant business growth.
