Event Highlight – SME Seminar “Start-up – Opportunities in Innovation Technology and Sharing”

HKFEC was glad to co-organize SME Seminar “Start-up – Opportunities in Innovation Technology and Sharing” with Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) on 24 May, 2019. The seminar aims to share start-up experience, introduce to audience briefly about the prospect and obstacles that FinTech start-ups face today, and provide them a clear picture on how to equip themselves.
The seminar attracted around 50 participants. Our chairman, Mr. Joseph Yuen explained how Greater Bay Area Development Plan can help FinTech companies to expand their business. According to the Greater Bay Area E-commerce Development Cooperation Initiate we signed with all e-commerce associations from other 10 cities, HKFEC would help enterprises in understanding development of Bay Area. Also, Mr. Yuen announced the latest development of Hong Kong Trust Mark Scheme that HKFEC formed a strategic alliance with Dowsure Techonologies Co. Limited to upgrade the scheme. We now provide insurance service by well-known insurance companies over Blockchain technology to further protect consumers and sellers in every online transaction.
Moreover, we invited some representatives from FinTech Start-ups to share their experience, inlcluding Mr. Allen Lau, CEO of Transin Intelligent Savings Platform, Ms. Fioni Fong, Head of Marketing of gini, Ms. Cynthia Man, Public Relations Officer of Find Solutions Ai Limited. They shared how the company was formed, current strategies and obstacles they face nowadays, allowing audience to understand the current market of FinTech and how to enter the market.
HKFEC was glad to cooperate with SUCCESS again, and look forward to working with the team in the near future to bring more useful insights and information to the audience, and further promote development of FinTech and e-commerce.
