Event Highlight – Open the Gateway of ASEAN Markets through E-commerce – World SME Expo 2016

HKTDC World SME Expo was held between 1st – 3rd December, 2016. The 3 day expo featured 3 major exhibitions, including the Hong Kong International Franchising Show.
Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC) held a seminar on the second day of the expo in cooperation with HKTDC, on the topic of “Open the Gateway of ASEAN Markets through E-commerce”, which attracted over 150 guests and featured speakers from Hang Seng Bank, PCCW Solutions, and Strawberry Cosmetics.
Our Chairman, Mr. Joseph Yuen, was the moderator for a panel discussion involving the aforementioned speakers. He was also the speaker for a workshop on the same day, attracting over 60 guests, on the topic of “How to Position Hong Kong Company in China E-Commerce?”.
The main expo attracted over 11,000 visitors from over 67 countries and regions, and over 430 exhibitors from over 36 countries. Visitors gained a real opportunity to connect with other SMEs from worldwide in order to push their loocal business to the global stage, and to remain competitive in today’s world market.
HKFEC hopes to host many more events in this coming year.
