Event Highlight – E-commerce Cross Border Conference 2019

E-commerce Cross Border Conference 2019 was held in Malaysia on 30 – 31 October, 2019. The conference aimed at sharing the trends of digital transformation and strategies adopting by companies in ASEAN. Our Vice President, Dr. Victor Hung, was invited to share development of new retail and its sustainability in other regions.
Apart from new retail, technology such as Blockchain, cashless payment and so on are also bringing transformation to the region as technologies are being widely deployed and form tension among e-commerce players. With both lessons of success and failures from other market, there are still many rooms to develop in new retail, and hopefully tis could be a new solution to traditional retailers when it comes to digitalization.
HKFEC was glad to support the event, we hope to further promote e-commerce with the industry in ASEAN again soon.
